Personal training vs Joining a gym

We all know the feeling when you walk into a normal big franchise style gym. Uneasy, unsure and for most of us, self-conscious, “are we doing it right?”, we ask ourselves as we enter the cardio room, completely separate from the weights room, and very often filled with young guns, who are lifting such huge weights with some grunting sounds you would more likely expect from the jungle.

At A’Hern Fitness, we pride ourselves in being nothing like these normal large scale gyms. We often use the saying, “we are personal trainers offering a gym, not a gym offering personal training”. There’s no mirrors, no grunting and more importantly no die hard gym junkies making us feel inadequate.

We pride our self on being normal people with normal busy lives. Knowing exercise is an important part of a balanced life. It is not the only thing we live for, it’s just one part, one important part, that is imperative but to be worked in with our lifestyles.

Some reasons to see a personal trainer at a personal training studio, like ours, as appose to a normal gym:

Your weekly recurring booking with your trainer builds routine and structure

Your weekly recurring booking with your trainer builds confidence and makes you feel at ease and comfortable

Clients who come to A’Hern Fitness are just like you, normal. They are happy to do their work out with their trainer, and then go home, to their family and their busy lives.

The studio atmosphere has a boutique feel, a comfortable environment which you can be you without any pressure.

It doesn’t matter how fit, unfit or out of shape you are. Used a gym or never set foot in a gym before. We can still help you, with your fitness, your health, and your wellbeing.
