Why should I come to you and not a usual gym?
At A’Hern Fitness we pride ourselves on our personal service. We are more personable than the usual gyms, and your programs are individually tailored to your needs. We are there to guide you and ensure you are doing everything right, your progress is monitored on a weekly basis.
Do I need to pay extra to use the studio between my sessions?
No, as part of your package, the use of the studio between your Personal training sessions is free. So you can come into the studio and use the equipment to do your own training, which will compliment your personal training and help you achieve your overall goals.
What is the minimum sign up period and locked contracts?
Most of our packages are over a 3 month period, however we don’t have any locked in contracts. We want you to enjoy your training experience and if you are not happy at any time, you can stop.. Within the first 3 months the cancellation fee is $110, however after your initial 3 months, you can stop at any time without penalty.
Will my program be written for me?
Yes, your program througthout your time with us will be individually tailored, and different each week, to give you variety in your workouts.
How do you guarantee I am able to get on to the equipment during my session?
At A’Hern Fitness we want your experience to be a good one, that’s why we are an exclusive training studio, where only clients on a package are able to use the studio, and we limit the number of people in the studio at any one time. Additionally, your trainer will reserve your equipment before you arrive for your session.
What about parking?
We have free onsite parking at the front of the building, and if that is full, there is plenty of street parking, right around the corner.
I know I have my recurring booking every week, but what if I can't make it, will I still be charged?
At A'Hern Fitness, when committing to a package your time and trainer are reserved for you each week. However, if you need to suspend your training for any short period of time (up to one month) and you give us notice, your sessions will be put on hold and held for you until you return. You will not be charged for those sessions missed. Your package will be suspended.
If you need to cancel your session , more than 24 hours notice is required, you will then have the opportunity to reschedule that appointment to another day or time. You will not miss out on your session. If however you cancel within the 24 hours of your scheduled session appointment time with your trainer, you will be charged for the session at the full rate.
Are your trainers qualified and what experience do they have?
Nick A’Hern himself has over 20 years of training experience and knowledge that he is able to share with his team and his clients. All of our trainers are fully qualified and experienced with all aspects of personal training from weight loss to injury rehabilitation and body building. We will match you up with the trainer we feel will be best suited to your needs and your personality.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing except you and your gym clothes as we provide you with your own personalised water bottle and workout towel. We have full shower facilities if you need to shower after your workout, with everything provided for that too. You can even grab a piece of fruit on your way out.
