As we all know, walking is extremley good for our health, fitness and wellbeing. But taking our walking to the next level and making it challenging and exciitng is another thing. Incorporating strength and core work into your training will help you take your walking or running to that next level.
We have specifically developed programs for events like the CBR100 Challenge and other events, The Canberra Running Festival,The mothers day fun run and so many more to mention.
We can give you a day-by-day run down on how many lunges, crunches and planks to do, as well as what sort of training you should be doing to build up in time.
A'Hern Fitness is happy to be one of the sponors of the inagural CBR100 Challenge, this year to be held on 5-6 March 2016. This event can be your opportunity for you to take this next step with your walking or running.
Teams of 3 and soloists can run or walk the 25km, 50km or 100km of Canberra’s beautiful Centenary Trail.
Not only does the CBR 100 Challenge show you what’s hiding in your own backyard, it also gives you a chance to view Canberra from a completely different perspective.
Whether you exercise regularly, rarely, or not at all, the CBR 100 Challenge is your chance to get a team together and tackle a challenge that will help you get fitter, healthier, happier as well as fall further in love with our underrated city.
The 25km for example is the perfect distance for pushing a bit further than a half marathon, or attacking your first time at walking a longer distance.
